Portfolio: USDA grant project: "ootle-u" > next
This is an in-progress project with the Department of Nutrition and Food Sciences at the University of Vermont. It is an online class, targeted to middle-school students, covering the topic of Food Safety. My role was to design the overall look and feel, develop and design interfaces, and create all illustrations - including characters, classrooms, a "campus", and illustrating & animating lessons and games. I collaborated with a Flash developer, feeding illustrations and rough animations to him for final polishing, soundtrack syncing, and placement in the site structure. The site and project are called "ootle-u" (object oriented teaching learning environment).
